How do we understand persecution?
(1)The persecution of God's people brings "joy" to the ungodly v1-4
(2) Prayer is the greater work v5 & 12
(3) God performs the work we are incapable of doing on our own v6-11
(4) Celevration of God's work is vital to spreading his message v12-17
(5) Those who stand against the Lord will not do so for long v18-23
(6) The Word of the Lordd remains forever v24-25
CHALLENGE: Have you prepared yourself for persecution?
FINAL THOUGHT: No matter what comes our way, those who follow Christ live forever
